Meet the Christ Lutheran Church Council for 2023
This team is responsible for the administration of the congregation. They meet monthly, typically on the second Monday of the month (with adjustment for schedules), to review finances, evaluate ministry, and vision for the future. They are all happy to help if you have any questions or concerns!
Curious how things get done around here? Want to get more involved?

Here are the teams at CLC!
Worship and Music: Discusses and plans various worship ideas and concepts. We talk about using different liturgy settings, music styles, worship art, and technology.
Outreach: Looks at current and future ministry partners to discern if their values align with the calling of CLC and makes recommendations to CLC Council to increase/decrease/offer special gifts to local non-profits and organizations.
Building: Looks out for the regular maintenance of the building (light bulbs, batteries, snow/ice), as well as helping with repairs/bigger projects.
Technology: Support the livestream ministry and make the building more accessible with technology for hybrid meetings.
Finance: Support the Treasurer and Administrative Assistant in financial needs.
Education: This is a new team forming! This will be folks who help guide the vision of Christian education at CLC for all ages.
Hospitality: This is a new team forming! This will be folks who are willing to help visitors feel welcomed and embraced beyond just a "Hello!", organize congregation fellowship/meals, help celebrate special days like baptisms, Confirmation, etc.
Church Council: This is a group of elected CLC members who meet monthly to handle the administration and leadership of the congregation. These meetings are open to all, unless they need to go into executive session.
**All of these teams, aside from Council, meet only as needed. "Meetings for the sake of meetings" are exhausting and unpleasant. These teams convene when needed to do the work of the Church.
